You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.Responsibilities:Responsible for annual sales & gross margin budget in builder products of export sales in the CaribbeanEstablish direct relationships with overseas clients – developers, builders, GC’s, subcontractors, dealers, etc.Establish relationships with mainly S.Florida-based local designers and architects that specify international projects for both US & Foreign clientsInfluence the specification at early stage of design as a value-add to the customer and best position Ferguson to win the business.Product focus will be mainly on plumbing, appliances and lightingConceptualize, prepare, build, and drive all aspects of the proposal process from inception to closingHandle all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and on contract valuePrepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project teamIdentify and help to resolve operational and logistics problems and minimize delaysRequirements:5+ years of export sales to builders required Experience in working with designers and developers in product selection preferredKnowledge of construction project cycle and design influence and expertise preferredAbility to interpret project schedules and project plansStrong customer service and communication skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Self-motivator and ability to multi-taskPlanning and execution skillsAbility to manage competing demandsAbility to make timely decisions, exhibit good judgmentAbility to travel internationally independently on a regular (monthly) basis and sometimes on short notice is a requisiteNegotiation skillsAnalytical skillsAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
