Overview
Working as a Production Technician provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technologies and precision-driven products. Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare, assemble, and finish manufactured items to work order instructions and/or drawings
- Cross-train personnel and receive cross-training to improve ongoing efficiency and business continuity
- Ensure work environment remains clean and orderly
- Power down unattended equipment each evening or when operator leaves workstation
- Monitor Laser Cutter, Laser Welder, and Stamping Machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, utilizing precision measurement instruments
- Routine Quality Control inspection and documentation throughout the production process
- De-burr and clean parts to specifications
- Clean and maintain equipment, tooling and parts to maintain equipment for optimal production
- Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by your supervisor
Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively execute the above listed requirements
- Able to follow written and verbal directions
- Able to work under microscope for extended periods of time
- Able to understand and operate manufacturing equipment properly
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of quality management system requirements
- Able to read and write English
- Possess basic hand tool knowledge
- Possess mechanical aptitude and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Interpret prints and work instructions
- The ability to accurately measure parts for Quality Control
- The ability to work independently and with focus
