From your PASSION to ours
The Master Planner is responsible for developing plans for future capacity utilization and requirements through scenario planning by incorporating and harmonizing inputs from the industrial, external manufacturing, sales and marketing teams in support of S&OP as well as long term planning. They will also lead the deconfliction of the overall capacity in the 3PL DC network for LUSA on behalf of LUSY to ensure the storage needs while interfacing with the other business units in the US. Additionally, they will perform analysis and support network design and long-term manufacturing capacities. This role is the primary owner for all scenario planning to support the overall budget, long-term plan, CAPEX, and Sales Retail vs Private Label strategies. They will regularly interface with and maintain relationships with the Executive Team and have an elevated level of visibility to the CEO and the VPs of Supply Chain for the US Business units. The role requires a high level of business acumen, presentation skills, collaboration, and the ability to work with ambiguity. This person will also serve as a subject matter expert on physical Supply Chain.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels to achieve service and spoils targets, including safety stock levels, and determining desired inventory levels for finished goods at 3PL DC's. Balance inventory projections between 3PL and LUSY owned facilities to maximize capacity and minimize overall costs.
- Scenario Planning: Coordinate with both Industrial and Commercial (Sales & Marketing) scenarios to support the overall business and identify opportunities and constraints within a constrained supply chain.
- Capacity Planning: Manage the overall capacity planning process for both the S&OP (Current plus one year) and Long-Term outlook for capital planning. Work closely with industrial teams to include multiple levels of industrial constraints. Problem solve to deliver optimal cost, service customers and deliver S&OP volumes.
- Project Management: Manage all projects related to overall capacity outlooks. Heavy participation in the annual budgeting and Capital Planning process. Ensure all key variables and data requirements align to meet corporate timelines.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate item/Customer shipping locations to maximize overall capacity and minimize costs.
- Collaboration: Build effective relationships with ELT members and Supply Chain counterparts within LUSA.
- Network Planning: Support the Commercialization process by providing guidance on feasibility of manufacturing location during development to include capacity and best fit.
- Technology: Serve as the technology lead for the Supply Planning Team, continually looking for new and innovative ways to maximize existing technology and evaluating new / emerging tools.
- Multi-sourcing strategy: give guidance and develop plans to leverage manufacturing redundancies to mitigate risk, reduce cost and improve service.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, logistics, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in supply planning and/or forecasting. Additional cross functional experience in Demand Planning, Manufacturing, network modeling, or other supply chain disciplines is preferred.
- Strong business acumen and presentation skills at an executive level.
- S&OP experience and a clear understanding of S&OP maturity and vision.
- High Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of other MS Office applications. Ability to maintain and harmonize large amounts of data.
- SAP experience.
- Ability to demonstrate a drive for results within the supply chain and understand how this links with the organizational goals.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with all departments and employees in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
- Ability to operate in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt in a changing work environment.
