Las Posas Veterinary Medical Center and Channel Islands Veterinary Hospital are seeking an experienced Medical Director to join our leadership team!

We are 2 veterinary hospitals with a proven track record of 37 years in Ventura County, CA. As Medical Director, you will oversee the medical operations of both facilities while maintaining the highest standards of veterinary care that our clients have come to expect. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical skills, proven clinical leadership, the desire & passion to mentor our medical team, and help drive the continued growth and success of our practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide medical leadership and mentorship to our veterinary team
• Ensure delivery of high-quality medicine across both locations
• Maintain and enhance medical protocols and standards
• Participate in recruiting and developing veterinary talent
• Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives
• Maintain an active clinical schedule while managing leadership duties

Required Qualifications:
• Graduate from an AVMA accredited college or successful completion of ECFVG/PAVE certification program
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Strong surgical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• California veterinary license in good standing or eligible for licensure
