Job Description

As a Senior Quant Analyst, your objective will be to provide general multi-asset research with an emphasis on strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction and fund selection.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and automation of the Invesco Solutions Group's capital markets assumptions, across asset classes (equity, fixed income & alternatives), regions, and sub-asset classes.
  • Contribute to the broader investment process with a focus on enhancing the strategic asset allocation process for multi-asset portfolios and solutions.
  • Researching new asset classes and investment strategies with a focus on informing views around inclusion, sourcing, and funding from existing asset classes and/or strategies.
  • Assist with the generation of thought leadership content related to long term capital market assumptions, strategic asset allocation, and fund selection.


Work Experience / Knowledge:
  • 5+ years of investment experience with a preference for either multi-asset or fixed income experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of portfolio construction, risk modeling, and factor models.
  • Proficiency in either R or Python


Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills


Formal Education:
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Masters degree and/or CFA preferred.

The salary range for this position in Newport Beach and New York City is $140,000 - $160,000 / year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
