Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a highly qualified patent prosecution associate or patent agent to join its growing and dynamic Intellectual Property Practice Group. This position is open to any WBD office.
Candidates must have IP experience with drafting and patent prosecution and a background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar. Design engineering experience with a chip company is a plus. Preference for candidates with networking, software, 3G/4G/5G wireless network, or the like. Candidates must be admitted to the USPTO and have 2-6 years of legal experience. Bar licensure in California is a plus.

The national average salary range for this Associate role is $205,000-$305,000. The national average salary range for this Patent Agent role is $99,600-$145,800. Starting salary will be determined based on location, qualifications and experience. We will review applications on a rolling basis and will contact you if there is interest in moving forward with your candidacy. Womble Bond Dickinson offers competitive compensation and, in addition, we offer a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with employer contribution, and Paid Days Off "PDO"/Vacation. A discretionary bonus may be available based on performance.
