ENT and Allergy Associates New York & New Jersey's premier ENT and Allergy medical practice, is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly full time Human Resources Business partner.
Summary
The overall purpose of this position is to perform day-to-day responsibilities within the Human Resources Department. This position reports to the Employee Relations Manager. This position may be required to travel to all office locations, as needed.

Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 plus year end discretionary bonus , car allowance, monthly cell phone reimbursement, mileage reimbursement

Each ENT and Allergy Associates clinical location provides access to a full complement of services, including General Adult and Pediatric ENT, Voice and Swallowing, Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, Disorders of the Inner Ear and Dizziness, Asthma, Clinical Immunology, Diagnostic Audiology, Hearing Aid dispensing, Sleep and CT Services. ENTA has a clinical alliance with The Mount Sinai Hospital for the treatment of diseases of the head and neck and esophageal cancer and a partnership with the American Cancer Society to educate and treat patients with smoking disorders and cancer. The Practice has also expanded its clinical capabilities to include advanced Immunodeficiency trials.
Summary
The overall purpose of this position is to perform day-to-day responsibilities within the Human Resources Department. This position reports to the Employee Relations Manager. This position may be required to travel to all office locations, as needed.
Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Employee Relations
- Investigate complaints or allegations regarding employee performance, conduct and adherence to (violation of) Company policy.
- Coach Managers regarding performance management, staff development and problem resolution.
- Responsible for drafting/delivering expectation memos and written warnings.
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Prepare documentation of personnel issues/events in employee records.
- Prepare employee separation notices, termination letters and other related documentation.
- Responsible for carrying out terminations.
Performance Management
- Correspond with all PSA's/Managers/Supervisors for employee reviews/evaluations each month and complete all incoming reviews
- Collaborate with managers to address performance issues and identify training and development opportunities
Other Responsibilities
- Stay abreast of labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance with employment practices and mitigate legal risks. Partner with legal counsel as needed to address legal matters
- Responsible for responding to unemployment claims.
- Attends unemployment hearings in any of the office regions. Prepares testimony with managers to ensure successful participation at hearings and prepares statements/correspondence.
- Assist with various projects, as assigned.
- Handle adjustments and promotions for positions that are not being recruited for.
- File related documents into electronic personnel folders
