Job Summary:
The Business Manager position ensures that the field operations administrative teams are aligned in process and working toward the successful attainment of organizational and area Performance Metrics and Objectives.

What You'll Do:

- Assists the Area Vice President(s) in setting the budget and strategic priorities to meet the organizational and area short-term and long-term financial objectives.
- Oversees financial reporting, provides detailed financial analysis to Area VP's
- Aligns with peer Business Managers and other administrative departments across the organization to standardize process in the operations administrative functions.
- Oversees invoicing to clients based on direction received from management.
- Oversees and assists in entering work projects in the accounting system.
- Implements agreed upon processes and directs the operations administrative team to achieve organization and area objectives.
- Tracks performance metrics and success toward area objectives and, based upon analysis, makes adjustments to process and team.
- Provides reports to senior management regarding the team's performance.
- Completes other project work as assigned by the Area Vice President(s).
- Manages and provides leadership to operations administrative team, including hiring, performance management and feedback, coaching, ensuring the team has the tools needed to do their jobs, and development.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma required; secondary degree preferred.
- Additional training in business administration and leadership desirable.
- 2+ years of prior experience is generally required to perform at the level required to be successful in this role.
- Strong business and management acumen, including financial analysis and the ability to make decisions and manage the work performance of others
- Strong leadership skills, including coaching and counseling, enabling others to act, developing a service and team focused culture amongst reports.
- Ability to gather, interpret and report data.
- Ability to develop action plans based upon the interpretation of data.
- Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment juggling multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Deltek, Excel, Acrobat and PowerPoint.
