Our rehab team at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista is eager to welcome an acute inpatient Occupational Therapist to their tight-knit department. This team partners closely with other rehab disciplines to provide a collaborative approach to patient care. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and excited to make a difference in this southern San Diego community.
The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment, and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. They perform competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools and demonstrate age specific care as established for area and job title.
$4K New Hire Retention Incentive: 30% at 3 months and 70% at 12 months of experience with Scripps. $3K Relocation if moving from 100+ miles.

Qualifications
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
• Current Occupational Therapy license in the State of California
• Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association
Preferred Experience:
• At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting

- Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
