Your area of focus.
As a Sr. Digital Performance Manager you will lead our Media Buyer Team, the strategic execution and optimization of our digital marketing efforts. This role requires a deep understanding of digital advertising platforms, SEO, and internet lead generation. You will be responsible for conducting account audits, managing projects aligned with our digital marketing strategy, and collaborating closely with Marketing Directors and Dealership Leaders to drive traffic performance and diagnose issues. Your goal is to understand the unique challenges and goals of our automotive dealership business and translate them into effective strategies relating to Google Ads, Meta Ads and various digital ad platforms while managing the high-level digital strategy.

What drives your day-to-day?
Digital Marketing Strategy:
- Implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to improve website traffic and lead generation.
- Utilizing hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, and internet leads to drive performance.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Manage the team of media buyers, providing guidance and support in their daily activities.
- Conduct regular account audits to ensure optimal performance and adherence to best practices.
- Manage projects related to the overall digital marketing strategy, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Identify trends in performance on a weekly basis to support any optimization or necessary changes in the accounts
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work directly with Marketing Directors and media buyer team to review website traffic performance.
- Diagnose issues and provide actionable recommendations to improve digital marketing outcomes.
- Understand the business challenges and goals of our dealerships to tailor strategies that meet their needs.
- Consistent communication with the retail support team at each platform (Meta, Google, etc.)
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct regular performance reviews and prepare detailed reports on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.
- Provide reporting, insights and data-driven recommendations to Marketing Directors and Dealership leaders to support decision-making processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and the automotive industry.
- Implement innovative strategies to keep our digital marketing efforts ahead of the competition.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the media buyer team.
What are the must-haves...
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 5-7 years proven hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, GA4 and internet lead generation
- 2-4 years' experience in an account manager or similar role.
- Experience identifying trends in paid digital and making recommendations based on those findings
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team
- Ability to create executive reports and communicate the trends and analytics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
