As a Principal Consultant at Capco you will be playing a key role in the delivery of projects and development of new business opportunities, working on client site to deliver change initiatives for leading clients across Financial Services, particularly the Capital Markets space.

About the Job:
As a Principal Consultant at Capco you will be playing a key role in the delivery of projects and development of new business opportunities, working on client site to deliver change initiatives for leading clients across Financial Services, particularly the Capital Markets space.
What You'll Get to Do:
- Maintain program scope, governance, and communication plan
- Create project meeting materials and meeting output as per the communication plan, including:
- Open items, issues, and risks log to be reviewed at daily technology touchpoints to track progress of program
- Weekly status report which will support performance associated with the governance of the program such as IT PMO, Technology, Operations, Middle Office, Product Control, Risk, Credit, Front Office, IPV and Murex
- Bi-weekly Steering Committee presentation including program status, key risks, issues and dependencies, change requests impacting scope, budget and timeline and any other items requiring program sponsor level decisions
- Manage and track integrated Murex and Company end-to-end program plans for Day 2 functional deliveries and enhancements
- Coordinate Murex and Company dependencies and logistics to support program activities
- Manage overall testing activities for major releases requiring Murex binary updates
- Manage Murex and Company change request process through established governance model
- Administer and own program open items, issues and risk log o Drive program level risks and issues to resolution
- Support and monitor progress of test planning and execution (for all test phases)
- Manage Murex and Company defect management process utilizing Company JIRA tool and Murex PEGA tool
- Provide oversight and ensure timely scheduling to merge defect fixes into test environments with environment management team
- Host required meetings with Murex and Company to resolve open defects and monitor progress of testing
- Develop key metrics to report test status including progress, open defects, issues/risks impacting testing stream to be leveraged in overall program meetings
What you'll bring with You:
- 8+ years of Management Consulting experience in Capital Markets and Securities related businesses
- Proven track record in project-oriented Change Management and Business Development
- Analytical ability to evaluate the root causes of the problems and aptitude to understand complex workflows
- Experience in conducting project migrations / conversions is required
- Ability to understand institutional Broker-Dealer businesses, control infrastructure and technology impacts
- Proven track record of high-quality delivery across the project lifecycle
- Solid stakeholder management, including advising and influencing clients as it relates to processes
- Exposure to different methodologies and approaches (e.g., PMP, Prince 2, Agile, Waterfall)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven team leadership experience, people and team development
- Ability to use their own initiative to take pro-active decisions and make tangible progress
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to varying levels of client stakeholders
- Exceptional presentation skills, including the use of MS PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability and flexibility to work on a range of different business areas as a consultant
- Bachelor's degree
