We are a creative business, not just in that we serve the creatives of the world, but we focus on the world outside our walls, growing through partnership and exploration. The $250MM business helps bring design to life and solve functional problems across multiple end markets and different geographies.
As DuPont sheds the Electronics & Industrial and Water Solutions businesses and transforms to a focused multi-industrial business, we enter a new period for this 200+ year old company, with a growth focus that is stronger than ever. This is an exciting time to join the business as we commit resources and focus to building up our demand-creation engine.
Role Definition.
The Corian® Design North America Marketing Manager is responsible for developing the North America marketing strategy and working across the Corian® team and our distributors to ensure effective execution. This individual will report directly to, and work closely with, the Americas Commercial Director and will frequently partner with functional leaders across the business as well as our distributors' marketers. Corian® business performance is solid but to reach the next level, our team must up our marketing acumen and focus and we're looking for a proven marketer to take us to the next level.

This role requires a strategic and execution-oriented individual who can demonstrate strong change-management acumen, a spirit of collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.

- Development of a comprehensive and executable marketing strategy. Leveraging Where to Play and How to Win frameworks, the Marketing Manager guides the investments and focus of the organization to differentially drive demand creation.
- Driving disciplined execution of growth strategies. Leveraging clear marketing strategy, the Marketing Manager collaborates with commercial and distribution leadership to ensure that the Corian® enterprise is armed with the right tools to execute in the market. This includes samples, sales plays, targeted campaigns, informative website, and other sales tools.
- Managing innovation portfolio. Drive innovation programs with a focus on identifying, creating, and capturing customer value. Bring a profitability and sustainability mindset to all innovations. The Marketing Manager will hone their own and the team's skills around building robust business cases, focused value propositions, positioning statements, and project management. The Marketing Manager will also set an innovation partnership strategy to enable future growth.
- Building of market analysis discipline to stay ahead of competition. The Marketing Manager interprets internal and external business challenges and understands and recognizes broader impact across the business/function to ultimately implement best practices to improve the competitiveness of the business.
- Building a winning team. Lead and coach a focused marketing team to deliver agreed upon goals and results. Improve work processes and elevate the team's market competencies to deliver results and a positive employee experience. There is a small, dedicated marketing team, but true success will come from creating an aligned vision for a cross-functional, matrixed team.
- Drive branding and customer experience improvements. Partnering closely with marketing communications and digital functions, provide strategic focus and guidance to ensure the appropriate content development, branding campaigns, website enhancements, and media strategy. Own website content development.
Qualifications.
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
- At least 10 years in marketing and/or business development with demonstrated proficiency in the field
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen with ability to collect and analyze data and communicate insights effectively
- Experience successfully leading and coaching a team of direct and in-direct team members.
- Change management experience with experience developing new or improved approaches and procedures to translate goals into operational plans within marketing function and beyond
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
- Experience marketing in a business with 2-step distribution a plus
