Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Position Summary:

• The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for subsidiary financial statements, management reports, analyzing financial information, identifying and reporting financial trends, forecasting and budget preparation.

Schedule:

• Hybrid; 2 days at home, 3 days in office

Location:

• Olathe, KS

Education:

• Bachelor's degree

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in producing and reviewing financial statements, creating management reports, analyzing financial information, identifying and reporting financial trends and preparing budgets.

Licensure/Certification:

• At least 21 years old
• Valid Drivers License
• Valid Auto Insurance

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
• Requires Intermediate or higher computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word programs as well as Outlook email.
• Abilities Required:
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers, and external contacts
  • Extremely well organized and able to prioritize and balance several tasks at once
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review accurate and timely monthly financial statements
• Analyze financial data and report variances
• Prepare financial management reports
• Prepare required monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
• Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, interpreting and summarizing data
• Provide financial recommendations
• Prepare financial forecasts
• Prepare budgets
• Make independent decisions on financial statements using GAAP
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
