Who We're Looking For
We seek a passionate and results-oriented Head of People (HR) to lead our People Operations and foster a high-performance culture. As Head of People, you will drive strategic HR initiatives that align with Pearl's business objectives, focusing on recruitment, employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to build and scale HR processes that support our rapid growth and maintain a thriving, engaged workforce. You will be instrumental in helping Pearl transition to the next phase of its growth in the US and abroad.

You will be instrumental in helping Pearl transition to the next phase of its growth in the US and abroad.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Pearl's priorities, focusing on organizational design, change management, and scalability of our people operations.
- Represent the HR organization to the senior leadership team and participate in key business decisions that impact our people efforts.
- Be a business partner to senior leaders, including the head of engineering, sales, partnerships, marketing and more.
- Design and oversee onboarding, training, and development programs that foster employee growth, as well as establish managers' training.
- Establish an employer's value proposition, compensation philosophy, and maintain a strong company culture that promotes excellence, high performance, and employee well-being.
- Lead recruitment efforts to expand our talent pool and attract top talent across all levels of the organization.
- Manage employee relations and ensure HR practices are compliant with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Manage outsourced PeopleOps and Benefits firms to ensure that recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and day-to-day human resources are performed effectively.
- Oversee performance management systems (Rippling), compensation structures, and benefit programs.
- Partner with leadership to support organizational changes and ensure smooth scaling of operations.
- Develop employee engagement initiatives to boost morale, recognition and retention.
- Crystalize a hybrid return-to-office/remote policy and oversee the opening of offices throughout the US.
Qualifications:
- 10-15+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a fast-growing, start-up environment.
- Proven track record in recruitment, performance management, and organizational development.
- Expertise in labor law and HR best practices, with the ability to apply them in a dynamic work environment.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a positive, inclusive culture.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience in managing change and organizational growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
