As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we are looking for an experienced HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER at our Spring Hill, TN facility who will be responsible for the following:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage employee relations, ensuring procedures are in compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • 7 + years HR Leadership experience within a unionized manufacturing environment is required. Heavy Labor Relations and Union experience is required.
  • Partner with Plant Manager to ensure the site and workforce are deployed to execute strategic priorities.
  • Lead processes to identify, attract, reward, and retain a high-quality workforce.
  • Facilitate change, lead initiatives, and manage projects.
  • Coordinate with other Leaders to manage Operations and achieve desired results.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and high employee engagement.
  • Organize and align resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain a strong Leadership team.
  • Administer performance management program and facilitate organizational development.
  • Manage compensation programs and administer wellness and benefits plans.
  • Lead health and safety programs.
  • Represent Comprehensive Logistics (CLI) in the community and foster positive community relations.
  • Lead and foster diversity in the workplace.
  • Responsible for identifying, coordinating, and supporting training and development opportunities.
  • Oversee On-site Orientation and Training for all new hires.
  • Oversee the processing of weekly payroll for hourly employees.
  • Maintain time and attendance files for full-time and temporary employees.
  • Oversee Perfect Attendance Bonus for employees.
  • Administer Leave process / Monitor FMLA policy.
  • Appeal Unemployment Claims as needed.
  • Report on Key KPI's & HR Metrics to include: PTO, Overtime, Turnover, Absenteeism.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration or a related HR field is required, MBA or MA strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR or SPHR Certification is highly preferred.
  • 7+ years HR Leadership experience is required.
  • Experience within Manufacturing/Operations/Logistics/Warehousing/Distribution Third-Party Logistics (3PL) or Automotive Manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives among multiple client/customer groups is required.
  • 5+ years' experience with employment law, workers compensation, FMLA, OSHA is required.
  • Prior experience in collective bargaining, grievances and contract administration is required.
  • Strong business acumen; able to translate the needs of the core business function into HR solutions.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and the ability to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Outstanding leadership, influence, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle employee records and materials in a secure and confidential manner and ensure the privacy and confidentiality of all employee information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
  • Proficiency with HRIS Systems: UKG and/or UltiPro or applicable systems.
  • Ability to work independently (with minimal oversight) and effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment.
