The Enterprise Data product team is focused on driving two primary outcomes we need from our data ecosystem to enable real-time intelligent experiences ensuring 1) data is well-managed and easy to govern 2)Data is easy to find, understand, and use ...with a foundation that can evolve over time. We are a cross-functional team aligning product, tech, design, machine learning, risk and other horizontal partners as we work to create a modern data ecosystem to support innovation and business across all corners of the company.

Our organization comprises four domains:
  • Data Management - Focusing on embedding automated governance throughout the data lifecycle from data creation, to data publishing and transforming, to data deletion
  • Data Use & Horizontal Services - Helping Enterprise Data solidify a foundation to make data easy to find, understand and use via our data warehouse, data lake, The Exchange, and data products
  • Data Privacy & External Data Sharing - Providing transparency to our end consumers about their data and ensures critical governance processes related to data sharing with third parties and privacy regulations
  • Data Strategy, Culture & Operations - Delivering and maintaining well-managed data and technology that leverages the power of our unified, cross-functional Enterprise Data team


We are building a data destination of platforms, products and processes that is well-managed and easy to govern and where data is easy to find, understand and use.

In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas:
  • Human Centered
    • You'll deeply immerse yourself in knowing your internal and/or external customer(s) needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions
    • You'll be challenged to discover customer needs and inspire innovative solutions or products in light of industry trends, emerging technologies and business and customers insights
  • Business Focused
    • You'll be the leader to develop a compelling portfolio or product vision for our organization to deliver capabilities that empower differentiated customer experiences and deliver breakthrough business value
    • You'll lead a team that translates vision into strategic product roadmaps with an agile delivery approach in partnership with Tech while managing cyber, operational and/or regulatory risks
  • Technology Driven
    • You'll partner with Technology leaders to influence end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, performant and scalable technology solutions that solve material customer and business problems
    • You'll be responsible to make technology investments decision by assessing opportunities for reusing Enterprise solutions or for and building new ones with extensibility & enterprise scalability in mind
  • Transformational Leadership
    • You'll influence a broad set of senior executives across the enterprise and your organization who are stakeholders or delivery partner to successfully deliver on your portfolio/product vision
    • You'll establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, informed by customer and business needs, to gain alignment, secure resources and overcome impediments
    • You'll attract, grow, empower, and inspire top product talent as they develop and deliver on their local product strategy

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of product management experience or at least 3 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in Agile product management


The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York City (Hybrid On-site):
$163,300 - $186,400 for Manager, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
