is seeking a
Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician
to join our practice in the beautiful Upper Valley of New Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, robust perinatal practice embedded in an academic OB/GYN department. The physician will be eligible for academic appointment at
Geisel School of Medicine . This position is a 1.0 FTE.
Our MFM division consists of six board-certified MFM physicians. MFM works closely with our Academic Generalist Division, the Midwifery team, board-certified genetic counselors, and Complex Family Planning to deliver high quality perinatal care. We average roughly 1,400 deliveries a year at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and coordinate maternal transports throughout Northern New England. We also provide consultative care at a number of community group practices that are part of the Dartmouth Health (DH) system (Bedford, Nashua, Keene, Southern Vermont Medical Center, and Concord) as well as other non-DH practices.
In this role, the physician will provide care to high-risk obstetrical patients in the outpatient, inpatient, and labor and delivery settings. Care is provided both in person and via tele-health. We are a large tertiary-care hospital and academic medical center, and responsibilities will include teaching residents and medical students and engaging in research or advocacy. Our community has a diverse patient population, and we have a robust team set up to work with patients struggling with various social determinants of health.
