To Apply for this Job Click HereSenior Fund Accounting ConsultantWe are assisting a financial services company in their search for a Senior Fund Accounting Consultant to support their team during a critical transition period. We are seeking someone with a strong background in Fund Operations who can work hands-on and contribute effectively.Key Responsibilities:Fund Accounting:
Conduct accounting reviews for mutual funds, monitoring and reconciling fund accounts.Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.Track and allocate fund expenses.Review and approve fund expenses, accruals, and income allocations.Prepare periodic financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in compliance with GAAP.Accounts Payable (AP):
Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices, addressing vendor inquiries professionally.Adhere to company policies related to internal control and expense reimbursement.Confirm that third-party vendors are paid in accordance with contract terms.Accounts Receivable (AR):
Conduct aging reviews, assist with collections, and ensure proper application of payments.Generate invoices and account statements while performing account reconciliations.Reconcile invoices and bills, verifying balances against the general ledger.Participate in the monthly close process for Accounts Receivable.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.5+ years of experience in Fund Operations.Experience with fund reconciliations, processing fund expenses, and regulatory reporting.Strong Excel skills (pivot tables and lookups).
