Our client is seeking a Digital Product Owner III in Richmond, VA.

Role Description

JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition DescriptionThe Digital Product Owner III will be responsible for managing the digital roadmap and strategic plan for assigned lines of business. This requires the ability to see how business, technology and operations all intersect to influence and drive digital experiences. Work will include implementation of strategic digital initiatives for the Consumer and Commercial money movement products included, but not limited to: Self Service capabilities and money movement; Mobile Deposit Capture, Zelle, Bill Pay, Transfers, Apple/Android/Samsung Pay. This role will be charged to create a fully integrated, elegant and seamless digital experience across the entire life cycle of customer awareness, enrollment and full engagement.

Position AccountabilitiesDrive digital improvements and recommendations for the Line of Business in creating and implementing digital visions, strategies and roadmaps that address the business needs and future growthAssess digital platforms in the external marketplace and make recommendations for potential partnershipsIdentify opportunities to leverage digital techniques for greatest strategic impact and defining the priority capabilities required to succeedDevelop strategic plan for creating next generation money movement capabilities.Develop the business cases for digital opportunities within the Internet of Things(IOT) arena including virtual assistants(Alexa), Apple TV, etc as well as artificial intelligence arena.Lead multi-disciplinary teams to shape and implement digital strategies, programs, and initiativesSupport M&A integration work to minimize customer and operational impactBring the voice of the customer and the voice of our teammates or into our product features, ensuring that features delivered are aligned with the intended business outcomes, and align work with our target architecture road mapPartner with Marketing for acquisition support, product positioning, promotion of digital products and services and onboarding activities in the wealth spaceInterface with Training & Development to create and modify training for assigned digital products/services.Partner closely with Digital Business System Analyst to stay abreast of vendor roadmaps and enhancements.Understand all aspects of the internal and external environment including customer met/unmet digital needs through research efforts, in-depth understanding of voice of the customer, industry trends, vendor/platform capabilities and best practices for servicing the digital needs of our customersContinuously assesses competitive moves and monitors performance against objectives.Present data, strategies and recommendations to senior management to build buy-in to strategic recommendationsPrioritize product requirements and coordinate release plans with IT and key constituents.Serve as primary business point of contact for implementation activities and work closely across with key constituents to meet scheduled milestones

Skills & Requirements

Position QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's Degree RequiredMinimum of 5-7 years of financial services experience, preferably in the digital space

Knowledge & SkillsExperience with Artificial Intelligence a plusStrong PowerPoint and Excel skills to assemble & lead executive presentationsDemonstrated experience developing and executing against a strategic planProven ability to develop product roadmaps, define requirements and lead implementation efforts successfullySuperior analytical skills and ability to synthesize data and draw conclusionsDemonstrated interpersonal and relationship management skills; ability to work well as part of a cross-functional team and lead across the organization at multiple levelsAbility to influence diverse, cross functional team to success without direct authority over the teamExcellent verbal, writing and presentation skills
