Kinwell is hiring a Primary Care Physician to join our Denny Way clinic in Seattle, Washington. What you'll do:
Manage a panel of patients for a full spectrum primary care clinic, taking care of acute and chronic care needs.
Be curious in an effort to keep more care in primary care; solve problems, answer questions and spend quality time in service of learning on behalf of your patients.
Develop a high functioning care team with the goal that every person works at the top of license and scope, developing teammate's work in alignment with interests, good of the community and licensure.
Provide patients and family members with counseling and education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and need for follow up as appropriate during each patient visit. Verify and document that the patient understands diagnosis, treatment and follow up recommendations.
Collaborate with other site physicians, specialists, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the best interest of the patients.
Perform minor outpatient procedures in accordance with Premera credentialing/privileging policy.
Complete timely and accurate documentation.
Provide consultation to other clinic providers either in person, by video, or by telephone.
Provide after-hours care service support as part of the on-call program.
What you'll bring:
Currently licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Washington by hire date.
Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics or Geriatrics.
Unrestricted DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
Ability to be credentialed under Medicare.
Proficient in use of the EMR, with Epic experience strongly preferred.
Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem solving and communication skills. (Preferred)
Interest in community outreach efforts (PR, ambassador to community partners, onboarding/mentoring for new teammates). (Preferred)
Vaccine Requirement
Kinwell currently requires all teammates to provide proof of or complete a written attestation of a religious or medical exemption for influenza, COVID-19, and Hepatitis B vaccines. Healthcare providers may also be subject to CDC recommended vaccines.
Working Environment
This position operates in a clinic environment, providing both in person and telehealth care. Collaboration with various healthcare providers is routine, and participation in wellness programs may also be required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a clinical environment, interact with patients for prolonged periods, and perform duties requiring a high level of concentration and emotional resilience.

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.
National Plus Salary Range:$203,700.00 - $366,700.00
*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
