Loan Servicing Universal Specialist - Capital City Bank - More than your bank, your banker.

General Summary
This is both a client service and clerical position. Universal Associate will perform clerical duties while providing direct client service to both internal and external clients. Associate will move between job duties/positions as needed.
In performing these duties, the individual will provide excellent client service to both internal and external clients.
All associates at Capital City Bank have access to confidential client information and must practice discretion at all times.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assist and back up all Client Service responsibilities includingRespond to loan research requestProcess loan maintenance requests (loan draws, set up autodrafts, work unposted items, process returned mail, etc)Processing Paid Out loan documentation, releasing collateral
Assist and back up all Loan Input responsibilities includingInput new loans, renewals and extensions into our core systemProcess payments and payoffs
Assist and back up all Loan Participation responsibilities includingWires (processing and initiating)Process participation loan payment and draw requestsWarehouse lending documentation tracking
Responsible for preforming monthly escrow analysis and assist with yearly tax payments.Special Projects identified by manager to further the department current and upcoming priorities.Employer determines the essential functions of the job.
All associates must understand and adhere to the non-negotiable Banker Standards and commit to practicing SGNNT (smile, greet, name, name, thank you) at all times. Associates will consistently follow policies and procedures as established by Capital City Bank, with department managers setting the standard.
Associated Duties
Provides additional support to manager and department colleagues.
Completes all assigned/required Bank training within established timelines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Required
The following KSAs are usually acquired through higher education, working experience/training and/or specialized course(s) and are further defined in each of the Specialist levels below.
Knowledge of core, complementary and online banking systems.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Sound judgment.Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and display flexible attitude.Ability to manage time constraints and meet operational deadlines.Ability to handle high pace work environment with unpredictable workloads.Attention to detail and accuracy.Interpersonal and teamwork skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Personal computer skills.Use and knowledge of standard office equipment.Loan Servicing Universal Specialist I
Thorough knowledge of department functions, policies and practices. The ability to work independently following all department processes and procedures effectively and efficiently
Loan Servicing Universal Specialist II
Extensive knowledge of core processes and loan documentation. Associate performs advanced processing work and a broad spectrum of department duties requiring complex work methods and procedures. May train, recommend procedural updates, check the work of other associates and serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
Education
Minimum, high school diploma or equivalent. Banking experience and/or training a plus. Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
Working Conditions
Secured entry building and department.Must be able to sit for long periods of time.Open cubicle environment.Slightly noisy area.Overtime may be required at designated times (i.e., End of Month, End of Quarter, Mergers or Software Conversions.)In the rare instance of a major or extensive natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic occurrence, or other disruption within our footprint, it may be necessary for associates to relocate or telecommute before, during or after, to ensure business continuity.Capital City Bank associates are our greatest asset.
