Data Scientist . We operate within a hybrid work model, supporting flexibility between office time and work from home. Considering this model, this role could be based in the following cities:

DLR Group's Design Technology team consists of diversified discipline technologists made up of Digital Practice, Digital Design, Digital Services, and Research & Development. Digital Practice is focused on implementation and support of design technology tools for our design teams across DLR Group's integrated design practice. The Digital Design Team builds the new tools to support our enterprise and leverages it's technical skillset to aid teams in solving complex design problems. Digital Services is focused on growth of client facing services through the use of our design technology tools.
Position Summary
As a
Data Scientist
at DLR Group, you will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better designs and products for our clients. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products.

The successful candidate will:
Collaborate within the Data Science team to introduce new features and optimize current systems.Approach model development and implementation with a full-stack perspective.Develop methods for meaningful analysis of spatially aware built environment and architectural data.Contribute to research and development in architectural design automation.Assist in developing machine learning systems that leverage diverse data types to deliver predictive, generative, and analytical capabilities.Excel at documenting and sharing work and research with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Be ready to support project teams with data-driven components and educate project staff on capabilities developed by the Data Science team.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree beneficial3+ years of experience in developing deep learning modelsStrong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms such as CNNs, GNNs, GANs, DDPNs, GCPNsKnowledge of ML methods for point cloud segmentation, e.g., PointNet, PointCNNExperience deploying decision-enhancing tools and analyses that have impacted your organizationExperience with simulation analysis, including Monte Carlo and linear programming (LP) and mixed-integer programming (MIP)Experience developing ML models within a data lake and data lakehouse ecosystem, ideally using DatabricksProficiency in cluster analysis using DBSCAN, HDBSCAN, K-means, K-modesExperience with topological analysis tools such as NetworkX, TopologicPy, and Neo4jFamiliarity with topological and network analysis, including community detection, centrality analysis, and graph and node embeddingsExperience in monitoring, maintaining, and retraining deployed ML modelsExperience publishing research in peer-reviewed journals or conferences, demonstrating an ability to contribute to and advance knowledge in the fields of data science, machine learning, or architectural design automationProficiency in SQL and CypherPreferred Qualifications:
Experience in hospitality, mixed-use, K-12, and justice & civic sectorsExperience working with IoTBachelors or masters in architecture, interior design, or urban planningExperience with Revit and/or GrasshopperExtensive C# programming experience
