As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of Security and Loss Prevention policies and procedures through compliance auditing and the use of exception reporting. What you'll do on a typical day:
Develop, implement and handle security awareness programs that contribute to the prevention and reduction of fraudulent losses while promoting team member safety and security throughout the workplaceInitiate investigations based on the analysis of loss trends, internal reports and input from other informational sourcesConduct security audits and surveys to detect areas of vulnerability or violations of company policies and proceduresAssist field operations in developing specific action plans that will result in operational and control compliance, conformity with established physical security and protection measures, and maintenance of a safe and secure work environmentDevelop and provide security reports and other documents designed to familiarize regional leadership teams with the ongoing security/loss prevention activities and initiativesDevelop and maintain face-to-face working relationships with the business operations and HR teams within assigned geographical area of responsibilityConsult and coordinate efforts with Legal, HR, Internal Audit and other company personnel, vendors and outside regulatory and law enforcement agenciesWhat you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:4 years of relevant work experienceExperience with Microsoft OfficeAvailability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends; occasional travelIt'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience4 years of experience in a security-related industryCertification in W-Z interviews and interrogationsExperience working in a distribution network and logistics environmentProject management, investigations and training experienceCCTV-alarm technical comprehensionExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audienceSolid attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve problemsAbility to cultivate and maintain strong relationships and build trust through fairness, honesty and opennessWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
