As a
Condition Monitoring Implementation Manager
in Caterpillar’s Construction Industries Services Division (CISD), you will support go-to-market initiatives, sales execution, and customer experience as a subject matter expert of Condition Monitoring products and services.
What You Will Do:
Leads and manages customer relationships to influence equipment management strategies and assist in the deployment of Condition Monitoring solutions.
Conducts customer fleet inspections and site evaluations to identify operational improvements enabled by Condition Monitoring.
Consults customers and dealers on Condition Monitoring applications such as applied technology, machine health, and safety.
Collects product and customer requirements to capitalize on opportunities to grow
Condition Monitoring capabilities and processes.
Influences the development of technology tools/systems and works with key stakeholders to deploy technologies to drive Condition Monitoring growth.
Collaborating with internal teams to get alignment on timelines, understanding marketing goals, and developing the marketing product roadmap of Condition Monitoring.

Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations. Extensive level experience required.

Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Extensive level experience required.
Effective Communications
: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Extensive level experience required.
Negotiating
: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner. Working level knowledge required.
Relationship Management:
Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers. Expert level required.
Technical Excellence
: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges. Extensive level experience required.
Value Selling
: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs. Expert level required.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Working knowledge of Product Link™, VisionLink, VIMS, inspection processes, equipment lifecycle planning, S•O•S Services, and the Service Information System (SIS) is desired.
Prior experience with customer account management and Cat Foresight Condition Monitoring suite is preferred.

Work Location: Peoria, IL OR Dallas, TX
Caterpillar operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week of onsite, in office work
Travel up to 50% globally
