Bilingual (French) Business Development Representative
to report to our
Livonia, MI
branch.
Responsibilities include:
Lead Generation & Lead QualificationGenerate & Develop leads for the CRM through phone calls, e-mails, LinkedIn etc.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and produce a high level of strong leadsEnter Customer contact information in CRM as it is obtained.Effectively Communicate Alta products and servicesHigh amount of lead generation activity with ability to maintain a high level of customer relationship skillsManage and follow up on existing leads in the CRMFollow up on clicks from email blasts, ad campaigns and marketing initiatives.Maintain and expand database of prospects within assigned territory. Pushing qualified opportunities to account managers for further development.Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and evolving product linesRespond and filter incoming callsReceives all incoming sales calls and directs them accordingly.Walk-in customer handlingGreet all walk-in sales customers.Coordinate complex or more significant sales opportunities to the Outside Salesperson, providing complete customer contact information, project details and customer timeline/urgencyDevelop a thorough understanding of product lines, basic technical aspects, business cycle and customer support.Collaborate with regional sales team as well as fellow business development teamUnderstand customer needs and requirementsTrainingAttend Training classes and meetings as neededAssigned Field time with reps to learn the territory, industry and areas of focusMeet minimum weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly results standardsIncorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedConsistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start timeQualifications:
Bilingual French & English written and verbal (mandatory)Associate's or bachelor's degree preferredAbility to identify immediate concerns providing quick and effective responsesStrong problem solving and communication skillsStrong organizational skillsStrategic, competitive and collaborativeResults orientatedComputer programs - proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Language Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Desire to build your career. This role is designed as a feeder for future sales rolesReasoning Ability - Intermediate: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsPhysical Demands/Work Environment:
Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use hands, sit, talk/hear, taste/smell; Frequently will stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; Occasionally will climb or balance.Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 poundsWork Environment: Occasionally will work near moving mechanical partsAbout Alta:
