Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for the assembly of catheters in a clean room environment. They will maintain all manufacturing and quality records accurately.

Responsibilities

Assemble catheters in a clean room environment.

Maintain accurate manufacturing and quality records.

Work with detailed visual aids such as SOPs, diagrams, schematics, and process flow sheets.

Use various hand tools and power-assisted assembly tools common to the medical device industry.

Inspect assemblies using a microscope and ensure compliance with GMP and SOP standards.

Collaborate with multiple departments including R&D, Engineering, Production, Lab, Cleanroom, and Warehouse.

Produce accurate, punctual reports and share information effectively with team members.

Essential Skills

Experience in assembly, particularly in a clean room environment.

Ability to use microscopes for inspection and assembly.

Understanding of GMP and SOPs.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools.

Mechanical aptitude and previous medical device assembly experience.

Ability to read and understand detailed visual aids and assembly documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Operator 1: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of recent/related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Operator 2: Minimum of 1.5 to 2+ years of recent/related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Exceptional listening skills and the ability to seek constructive feedback.

Ability to adapt quickly to change and work effectively in a team environment.

Competent in goal setting, resource management, and contingency planning.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean room setting with a strict dress code, including no jewelry, makeup, or perfume, and requires wearing a lab coat, hair net, and shoe covers. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with the first shift running from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and occasional overtime starting as early as 4 AM and ending as late as 4 PM. Most Saturdays will also require overtime. Candidates will interact with multiple teams and must have strong communication skills to collaborate effectively. All tasks are performed while following SOPs and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
