Summary:
Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with experience developing server hardware development for large scale. This Technical Program Manager position will work with cross-functional teams in Meta’s Infrastructure organization spanning multiple sites to support proof of concept generation, design, component selection, integration, development, and validation of new hardware products. This position would focus on next-generation servers specialized to target our large volume compute and AI/ML workloads, and would require engagement with external vendors as well as a range of internal engineering and specialized teams. Meta’s Infrastructure Engineering organization is responsible for the growth, management and 24x7 upkeep of all Meta’s products and services. This is a full-time position reporting into the Group Technical Program Manager.

Technical Program Manager, Compute Systems Responsibilities:
Lead technical program management of next-generation servers platform(s) for Meta Infrastructure in a matrix organization covering a range of functional teams and across multiple physical locations.
Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
Own overall program success spanning the end-to-end development of the hardware product. This includes the server, modules, chassis, subsystems spanning internal and external development work through successful ingestion into Meta’s infrastructure and support of production workloads at scale.
Develop and manage overall program requirements, scope, schedules, and deliverables with engineering teams, partners, and stakeholders.
Influence broader roadmaps through product interception and market fit, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies
Engage in product management in collaboration with Engineering counterparts to define product roadmaps.
Perform risk assessment, risk mitigation and change management on projects.
Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks.
Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
Analyze infrastructure needs and produce hardware designs and prototypes to meet those needs.
Minimum Qualifications:

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or other equivalent experience.
4+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
Experience working with technical teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
Effective communication, organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience.
Analytical and problem-solving experience with systems.
Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.

Knowledge of enterprise servers and key systems like CPUs, hardware acceleration (such as GPUs) and memory.
Hardware Systems Design experience.
Experience in hardware project life cycle management.
Experience with data center architecture and deployment.
Experience working with ODM’s and other vendors.
Web or Internet start-up environment and technical infrastructure management experience.
Public Compensation:
$102,000/year to $157,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
