As the Director of Regulatory Risk and Regulatory Change Management, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements, contributing significantly to our mission of maintaining robust governance and risk management practices.
By overseeing the end-to-end regulatory requirement process and managing national/global regulatory impacts, you will play a critical part in safeguarding the organization's integrity and operational excellence.
This role provides a platform to drive meaningful change, influence key stakeholders, and gain valuable experience in regulatory oversight and strategic risk management.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensure the end-to-end regulatory requirement process is complete.
Oversee horizon scanning, impact assessments, and the creation of control procedures in Archer.
Document and report on the status of legislative change items in a centralized manner.
Oversee regulatory requirements with a national/global scope.
Ensure comprehensive impact assessments are completed across various functions (e.g., GB, GRS, Manulife Bank).
Provide evidence of Line 1 challenge.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of three years in compliance or a related field.
Three years of experience with MS tools/software.
Three years of experience with Archer and/or similar regulatory compliance software.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related discipline /College Diploma in Business Administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Salary range is expected to be between
$103,050.00 CAD - $185,490.00 CAD
