Job Description

A banking client is looking for a Portfolio Manager to join the team. This position focuses primarily on the portfolio management of C&I loan existing transactions, including providing ongoing credit oversight and portfolio management through annual and quarterly reviews, monitoring of covenant compliance, and the overall maintenance of the portfolio.

The right candidate for this position will demonstrate sound underwriting and financial analysis capacity, and the ability to manage a portfolio with limited supervision. Must have minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial banking institution, managing C&I loans.

All essential duties and responsibilities must be performed in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures, compliance rules and regulations, and Banks privacy policy

Perform ongoing portfolio management on assigned borrowers including quarterly reviews on problem loans, and annual reviews on regular C&I portfolio of loans.

Manage portfolio credit migration on a forward and proactive basis and recommend specific actions plan upon identifying increase borrower risk.

Monitor compliance with covenants and financial reporting and prepare financial analysis including DCF, EV assessment and projections. For C&I leveraged loans, address the required Leveraged Loan Performance Indicators.

Review loan documentation in accordance with approved terms and conditions, including any amendments, waivers, or restructuring.

Maintain credit files in preparation for loan review, as well as internal or external audits and regulatory exams.

Skills and Requirements

College degree required

Cash flow lending experience required.

Financial analysis, discounted cash flow, enterprise value assessment required.

Strong knowledge base in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Strong written and oral communications skills null
