Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring aSecurity Managerto support our newly awarded customer contract. This position will be fully remote within the United States.
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and deliver cybersecurity projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Define project objectives, scopes, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
Coordinate and lead regular meetings, providing project updates to stakeholders, senior management, and clients.Collaborate with security teams to identify and analyze potential cybersecurity risks, developing mitigation strategies as part of each project.
Stay updated on current and emerging cybersecurity threats and ensure project initiatives address these areas.
Align projects with cybersecurity standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
Qualifications
Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
8 years of cyber security experience
Clearance Required: Must have an active HUD Public Trust

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
