Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Secret Cleared Security Engineer to join our clients team near Scott Air Force Base in O'Fallon, IL. The Security Systems Engineer III performs a variety of tasks applied to specialized technology problems to resolve total system problems as they relate to Information Assurance requirements. Provides technical assistance to the program manager in addressing system security requirements IAW National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), DODI 8500.1; DoD 8500.2, DODI 8510.01 and other applicable security directives or policies for the application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Provides trend analysis and recommendations to the program manager on security constraints and industry best practices. This individual will provide technical support in the areas of vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security, product evaluation, and security implementation. They are responsible for designing and implementing solutions for protecting the confidentiality of sensitive information, assist with making security improvements, participate in the design of information system contingency plans, and security product evaluations and recommendations. They will use Government tools such as eMASS and supporting program accreditations both under the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Skills and Requirements
Clearance requirement - Secret
3 + years of experience in information assurance and or cybersecurity of DoD systems
Working knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), DoD IA guidance and policies, and NIST 800 series standards
Bachelors Degree in Cyber Security or related field Experience using eMASS
TRANSCOM experience
Security +, CAP, or other IA-related certification highly desired
IAM II Certification or higher:
CAP / CASP+ CE / CISM / CISSP (or Associate) / GSLC / CCISO / HCISPP null
