Experience with moderate sedation is required. Neuro/stroke experience is preferred. Prior experience with ultrasounds/CT is preferred. License: Current licensure by the state's Board of Nursing Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: - Ability to respond to call within 45 minutes- Experience in moderate sedation- Must be available for rotational on-call commitment during the week, weekends, and holidays- Must not exceed 7 days of requested time off during the contract Job Description: - Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.- Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient care.- Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.- Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.- Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions.- Exhibit clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.- Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
