Controller (Experienced in Manufacturing)

The Controller will report directly to top executives and will be responsible for providing oversight for all financial and accounting activities of the manufacturing facility. The Controller, working with other management, will have ownership of achieving the facility s performance metrics including expense management and job profitability. Position: ControllerJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $120,000.00Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: 8:30am to 4:30pmIn office: This is not a remote position.Type: Direct Hire opportunity Primary Responsibilities: Financial record and preparation of financial statements and analysis must be prepared on a monthly basisMonitors and oversee all the accounting operationsRecommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company s performance.Produces the annual budget and forecasts-works with all departments to produce annual budgets and forecastWorks with external auditorsMust ensure company is compliant with local, state, and federal tax agenciesManagement of accounting staffImplement processes to control manufacturing costs and maintain systems to monitor profitabilityQualifications: Must be comfortable working in office full-time. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceFive plus(5+) years Controller experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentRecent experience with NetSuiteProficient in accountingStrong computer skills including Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to work independently, prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and expectations with minimal supervisionConfident, professional demeanor and ability to maintain composure in a busy environmentDemonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication skills.Strong Accounting skills to include treasury, accounting, A/P, A/R and credit.CMA/CPA a + Benefits: 401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance We are hiring immediately!
