Monday - Friday 5am - 1:30pm, OT until 3:30pm and every other Saturday

$19.75/hr

The Tester is expected to perform system tests, conform to production and quality standards, analyze failure modes, and perform minor repairs in workstation. The tester ensures all records are kept and confers with appropriate resources when issues arise.

Responsibilities Tester I Comply with the company and site safety and quality policies, processes, and procedures Maintain clean work environment and comply with 5S standards Follow and complete established procedures, processes, and policies Use standard work, programs, and work instructions to test all products, models, and/or subassemblies Interpret schematics and drawings to properly test all products Troubleshoot and document all product, models, and/or subassemblies appropriately to meet quality standards Perform minor repairs per work instruction/standard work within takt time; refer major repairs to appropriate resources Collaborate on improving processes, lead times, productivity and cost using the DTZ process Obtain and renew safety certification as needed to properly move and/or test all products, models, and/or subassemblies Additional duties as assigned including flexing to other departments Basic Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent 2-6 years of experience Additional Qualifications

Ability to effectively communicate Contributes to identifying problems and implementing appropriate countermeasures. Ability to identify problems Basic PC knowledge Basic knowledge of product testing and generator assembly. Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions. Ability to perform basic mechanical assembly skills Ability to effectively work in a team environment. Models positive and professional work ethics. Uses test procedures, test programs and written instructions to test product and / or subassemblies

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
