Job Description:
- Join a growing, state-of-the-art cancer treatment center with industry-leading technologies.- Demonstrate clinical independence in creating a vision for the position.- Develop and set standards of care.- Promote public awareness of the practice within the area.- Collaborate with supportive administration and staff.- Administer radiation treatments accurately and efficiently.- Review localization and portal verification films with supervising physician routinely.- Maintain working knowledge of the EMR and Impac computer system.- Assist patients as needed and coordinate daily treatment schedules.- Acquire proficiency in operating equipment producing ionizing radiation.- Relay patient concerns to appropriate oncology staff.- Serve as a resource for quality care and radiation safety.- Participate in on-call rotation for treatment-related duties and emergencies.- Use treatment-related equipment properly and verify patient information accurately.- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to exert significant force and potential exposure to radiation and infectious substances.- Capable of working designated shift lengths, including night shifts or irregular hours.
