Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.ResponsibilitiesThe Phlebotomist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Greets customers appropriately and treats all customers in a courteous manner Ensures all phlebotomy and other specimens are collected accurately and on time Responsible for completing requisitions accurately Maintains required records and documents Performs basic clerical duties; filing, faxing, preparing mail, and answering phones Miscellaneous duties and responsibilities; disposing of biohazard containers, stocking and ordering supplies, and other duties as assigned, within scope of position The Phlebotomist reports to the Department Manager or Director This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. This position requires exposure to hazardous waste products during phlebotomy procedures. Risks associated with driving and making visits to field sites (home visits).
