Must-Have: Ability to read, write, and speak English; basic computer skills; strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to function in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies with composure; excellent time management and critical thinking skills.
Job Description:
- Be an active member of an interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, high-quality patient care.- Adhere to professional nursing practice standards and the code of ethics, ensuring all actions meet the requirements of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.- Practice all aspects of the nursing process, incorporating evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.- Provide patient-centered care that appreciates cultural diversity and population-specific characteristics.- Partner with patients and their significant others for goal-oriented care planning.- Promote and document safe, high-quality patient care delivery through respectful, inclusive communication.- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure a supportive work environment conducive to performance improvement.- Engage in professional development, act as a mentor or preceptor, and foster an environment of research and evidence-based practice.- Plan patient care across the continuum, participating in the development of protocols to improve outcomes.- Support efficient use of resources and comply with all organizational policies, standards, and codes of conduct.
