Job Title: Maintenance EngineerJob DescriptionMaintenance Engineers will arrive each morning and attend a shift meeting to discuss the plan for the day. They will receive a list of preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to complete and be responsible for quickly responding to calls from the production team. Typically, they will complete 3-4 PMs each day.ResponsibilitiesAttend daily shift meetings to plan the day's activities.Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks efficiently.Respond promptly to calls from the production team for troubleshooting and repairs.Perform electrical troubleshooting using multimeters and other tools.Maintain and repair conveyors, bearings, shafts, sprockets, and pneumatics.Work with electrical components including sensors, photo eyes, motor relays, starters, start-stop switches, contactors, and auxiliary relays.Read and interpret electrical schematics for troubleshooting.Conduct welding and work with PLCs, VFDs, and hydraulic systems.Adhere to food and beverage manufacturing standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Essential SkillsStrong electrical skills with a basic understanding of mechanical systems.Experience in conveyor maintenance.Proficiency in using multimeters and wiring 480v motors.Understanding of PLCs, VFDs, and their functions.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.Experience in electrical component troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding experience.Experience in the food and beverage industry.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Bilingual skills are a plus.Why Work Here?Join a family-owned company with a great manager, a fun and flexible work environment.
