Details Client NameSt. David's South Austin Medical Center Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyCVICU Job ID28990059 Job TitleCONTRACT - RN - ECMO ICU (635) - 7:00A-7:00P Weekly Pay$1617.89 Shift Details ShiftDay - 12x3 - 07AM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date10/07/2024 End Date01/06/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00, Day Shift Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: RN License Certifications: ECMO experience required Must-Have: - Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms- Experience with titratable drips- Understanding of hemodynamics- Experience with respiratory patients: vents, BiPAP, trachs, Airvo- Experience with open-heart surgery recovery- Experience with ECMO, Impella, balloon pumps- Experience with CRRT/SLED Job Description: - Join a specialized CVICU unit with 8 beds and a dedicated team of 25 staff members.- Work alongside a day shift charge nurse and 4 RNs per shift.- Manage patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 based on the care required.- Utilize advanced medical equipment: GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Centrimag ECMO Circuits, Impella CP & 5.5, Prismax CRRT machines, Tablo SLED machines, Maquet Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps.- Operate with Meditech EMR systems.- Contribute to procedures such as central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubation.- Embrace a team-player attitude, adaptability, and maintain a positive outlook.- Dress code requires navy scrubs.- Complete 4 weekend shifts per schedule for day shift.
