We currently have an opening in our clean room facility in Goleta, California for a Production Specialist . The Production Specialist will work inside a clean room lab with full gown suits, using a microscope and will frequently use computer applications such as Microsoft Office. You will be utilized in the alignment lab or the wirebond area. You will have a knowledge of machine operation, mechanical skills, microscope use, personal protection equipment (PPE), and epoxies, adhesives, or chemicals such as IPA or Acetone. This is a Day Shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm - Goleta, CA.
What You Will DoWork in a cleanroom, around ESD sensitive parts.Use computers to load work instructions and record entries.Perform production functions with attention to extreme detail using microscopes.Clean daily using chemicals and gases such as acetone or carbon dioxide.Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a High school diploma or other 2 year post high school training, and minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We Prefer
Previous experience working in a Laboratory or Clean Room.Understanding of FOD and FOD reduction methods and concerns.Any experience with risk mitigation efforts such as foreign object debris/damage (FOD) prevention.Experience with Microsoft Office.Previous experience working in a Laboratory or Clean Room with Wire Bonding using ball bonding.Experience with bonding machines such as Palomar 2460 and/or 8000.Experience with pull test and/or non-destruction testing with motorized pull force test devices on production units.Experience with industrial microscopes up to the 20X level.Experience with small microelectronic builds using precision tooling jigs.What We Offer
