Responsibilities
- Perform Echo studies/procedures for patients utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease.
- Functions under the general supervision of the site supervisor and in cooperation with the cardiovascular team.
- This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studies
- Echo Registry eligible per ICAEL standards
- Echo registered in RDCS or RCS within six (6) months of hire date.
- CPR Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registry in Adult Cardiac Ultrasound
- ARDMS or CCI or Registry-Eligible Registered Echocardiography Technologist
Preferred Requirements:
- Allied Health degree in Cardiac Ultrasound experience performing Echocardiagraphy studies preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Registry in Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound preferred
