Summary
The Supervisor, Customer Technology Programs is responsible for implementation support of customer-sited technology products, programs, and services. This role will partner closely with APS's IT organizations and oversee the work of C2GS's team that supports the planning and implementation of APS's IT projects, including a Product Owner and Business Operations Analyst. This work supports the development and management of the renewable energy program, demand side management program, customer sustainability, or related distributed energy resources products/services. This role will ensure that C2GS's IT integrations are managed to maximize benefit to APS customers and the corporation. Reports to senior and executive management on program status and advises on strategic issues. May represent the Company with media and regulators for applicable programs.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering or marketing and five (5) years of related marketing, customer service, or utility experience.
In lieu of a degree, nine (9) years of related business, marketing, and/or technical education and related marketing, customer service, or utility operations experience.
Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of distributed energy resource programs, policy, technologies, markets, the electric utility industry, and relevant state and federal requirements. Excellent business, planning and project management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet. Familiarity with the DSMAC and REAC adjustors. Familiarity with ADO. Experience with development of Business Requirement Documents and User Acceptance Testing.
Major Accountabilities
1) Responsible for administration and support of customer-sited technology products, programs, and services.
2) Collaborate with other Customer Technology staff in the development, execution, and management of the renewable energy program, demand side management program, customer sustainability issues, and related distributed energy resources products/services.
3) Select and develop a high performing team through effective coaching, performance feedback, recognition, training and developmental opportunities.
4) Manage program application processes to ensure alignment with appropriate rate structures and other regulatory requirements.
5) Maintain up-to-date knowledge of distributed energy resource trends (i.e., technical, market, regulatory and political).
6) Monitor expenditures of unit or area of responsibility ensuring prudent use of company money and resources.
7) Manage relationships with vendor partners including manufacturers and installers to ensure conformity with contracted services.
8) Develop and maintain relationships with key local, state, and national stakeholders in the Customer Technology and distributed energy resource arenas.
9) Develop and advocate APS positions with regard to Customer-sited technologies to protect the customers and corporation's best interests.
10) Represent the corporation on Customer-sited technology matters with elected officials, community leaders, utilities, the market and other interested stakeholders.
