JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are currently seeking an Addiction Medicine physician for the Huntsville Stevenson regional area for a 35 - 40 hour a week, The Medical Director oversees two clinics in the Mobile area roughly 20 miles apart. This is an hourly position, pay rate up to $165 - $200 hourly but negotiable, additional bonuses are available.Responsibilities include:Maximizing the clinical and financial performanceSupervising the daily operations of an opiate treatment programEnsuring operational efficiencyResponsible for the resolution of urgent and emergent issues regarding the treatment center before, during and after regular office hourManaging treatment center revenue collections to achieve target collection rates and for managing expenditures in accordance with budgeted allowancesJOB REQUIREMENTSGREAT candidates for the position will have:A history of demonstrated success in a professional clinical or medical environmentAppropriate and required certificationsA highly motivated self-starter & fast learnerExceeds customer/team expectationExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsExcellent Decision Making & Problem Solving SkillsMaintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detailProblem analysis and assessmentTime managementABAM Certified of EligibleMinimum Requirements-
Must be licensed to practice medicine or osteopathy in Alabama,-Three years of documented experience in the provision of service to persons who are addicted to alcohol or other drugs, and one year of experience in treatment of opioid.-BE or BC and two years of documented experience in the treatment of persons who are addicted to alcohol or other drugs-ASAM or BC as an addiction medicine specialistThis Clinic System has multiple positions in several states and is growing rapidly.
