SMX is seeking a DoDAF Architect to support USINDOPACOM J6 portfolio of programs. This position is onsite Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corps Base in Hawaii.
This position requires a DoD security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI which requires US citizenship.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Independently manage and monitor tasks as directed from the J6 and designees
Create and publish DoDAF Architectural Artifacts in coordination with other INDOPACOM Enterprise and Systems Architects
Collaborate with other DoD CIO, Joint Staff, DISA, Component/Joint Commands, other INDOPACOM Directorates, NSA and other Federal agencies as required to design, catalog, depict and publish INDOPACOM Enterprise Architecture (EA) using DoDAF methodology
Understand and follow the DoDAF, CJADC2 and other key DoD/Joint architecture planning instructions
Capture the current, “as-is” architecture for INDOPACOM information networks and associated data centers by developing logical and physical maps to facilitate effective lifecycle management
Provide technical experience to coordinate activities to ensure stakeholders are aligned to meet J6 goals
Review and assess the impact of DoD, Military Service, Joint, DISA, or IC proposed capability architectures or architecture guidance on the INDOPACOM EA
Prepare mature products for dissemination at high level briefs
Assist with knowledge management of overall division projects and strategy to ensure cohesion of effort
Establish effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
Up to 25% travel
Required Skills & Experience
Active TS/SCI clearance
BS/BA from an accredited college or university in an engineering or relevant technical discipline OR Associate’s Degree and additional experience in relevant field may be substituted for a BS/BA
Certification in, or significant familiarity with the DoDAF Architectural Framework
Minimum of 8 years of experience in an Enterprise Architecture role, or relevant Systems/Solutions Architecture, Network Design or similar positions
Ability to complete tasks within required timeframes with no supervision
Expert at use of SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio and Project
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Capacity to learn new systems rapidly and adapt quickly to change
Desired Skills & Experience
FEAC Institute Certification (CEAP Yellow Belt, ACEA Green, CEA Black Belt)
Experience with USINDOPACOM
Intra-agency or joint command experience
IAT Level II/IAM Level I certification (i.e. Security+ CE)

The proposed salary for this position is:
$122,500—$183,700 USD
