Neurology Nurse Practitioner (Locum NP)

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide coverage in North Carolina for Neurology. The ideal candidate must be Board Certified, have current DEA, and NC state license. The shifts will be Monday - Friday from 7 am - 7 pm / 7 pm - 7 am, as well as weekends from 7 am - 7 pm / 7 pm - 7 am. You will be seeing an average of 13 patients per day with patient types including ICH, SAH, seizures, post-op, acute ischemic stroke, and trauma. Preference will be given to candidates with Neurointensivist with neurology residency and 1 year of attending experience. Support staff includes 1 MD during the day, 1-2 APPs during the day, and 1 APP at night.
