Description Job SummaryThe Senior Scheduler, as a key project management team member, will perform project scheduling, which requires detailed planning efforts, MS Projects schedule development and maintenance, the review and application of earned value progress measurement techniques and knowledge of an E, EP, and EPC schedule project execution analysis and reporting.Essential FunctionsActively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its CoreRepresents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's Code of Business Conduct andPerforms tasks required to develop and maintain project schedules, including the integration of multiple logic-tied EPC schedules from project site.Ability to follow engineering planning issues through to completion, involving all appropriate stakeholders.Supports Management through preparation and maintenance of schedule reports and progress analysis.Develops detailed project schedules with the Project Controls team.Assembles scheduling data from a variety of sources including engineering, drafting, project management, project engineering, vendors/suppliers, subcontractors, or others.Provides scheduling, resource, and progress measurement reports in support of weekly and monthly reporting.Provides schedules and histograms summarizing all work.Supervises updating of department forecast to reflect most current plans andInterfaces with other departments to provide scheduling data for items such as subcontract change requests, bid comparisons, new work item estimates and resolution of potential work scheduleProvides supervision and on-the-job training to clerical and entry level professional personnel assigned to area ofPerforms additional assignments per supervisor's
Qualifications
5+ years of major project scheduling experience specifically in MS Projects, including the detailed planning of engineering work activities.Bachelor's degree preferred.Must have extensive experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications, as well as a working knowledge of Primavera (P6) (preferred).Strong knowledge of and ability to progress project work activities using Earned Value Management methods.Thorough understanding of the nature of process systems and engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction planning & schedulingGood interpersonal communicationOccasional overtime and travel may be required.
