Join our team of food and food service delivery drivers, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our customers. You'll be responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on various routes while adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionallyPerform all required safety checks and inspections according to DOT regulationsDrive and deliver customer orders according to a predetermined route delivery scheduleUnload products from the trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areasCollect payments where required and ensure all paperwork is completed accuratelyPerform general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock areaSecure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shiftQualifications:12 months commercial driving experienceHigh school diploma/GED or state approved equivalentValid CDL AMeet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)Must be 21 years of ageClean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 yearsPass post-offer drug test and criminal background checkValid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health CardAble to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freightCompany DescriptionPerformance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries.Awards and AccoladesPerformance Food Group and/or its subsidiaries (individually or collectively, the 'Company') provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all applicants and employees, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
