In this role you will apply standard engineering techniques to design, develop and install equipment and systems for our fast-paced cheese manufacturing facility in Wyocena, WI. You will assume responsibility to lead low to mid-size capital projects up to $5MM for your assigned facility. Additionally, you will support the development and implementation of the facility capital plan. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a highly collaborative team focused on driving continuous improvement in one of the fastest growing areas of our business.What you need to be considered for the role:Bachelors Degree in a related Engineering field required.Three (3) or more years of related Engineering experience required.Must have general experience working with manufacturing facility and design, preferably in food processing.Project management skills such as initiating, coordinating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing in implementation of a variety of projects.Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose problems and recommend improvements.Ability to interpret a variety of technical information, instructions and details and utilize to guide methods and procedures.Planning and prioritization skills, innovation, multi-tasking, goal setting, analytical skills, adaptable, continuously looking to raise the bar for progress.Ability to understand, influence, drive, and negotiate with internal and external customers.Advanced PC skills including Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Engineering and design software.Advanced knowledge in mathematical concepts such as fractions, ratios, value analysis, thermodynamics, to resolve engineering designs and problems.Preferred:Project management certification and/or Professional Engineering license preferred.Knowledge of USDA, FDA, OSHA and environmental regulations, codes, and standards.Qualifications
