DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Global Media Partnerships in our Amazon Media Operations, Data, and Execution team (MODE). You will be part of an innovative, fast-growing team focused on delivering results across a wide range of business outcomes and categories. In this role, you will be responsible for working across internal marketing and business teams and our global media agencies to develop global investment strategies across our largest external media partners. You will partner with key global, regional and country media, business development, finance, operations and agency teams to (1) understand key business and marketing needs, (2) develop a media partnership framework and JBP (joint business planning) process, (3) create and align on investment recommendations, (4) define a scorecard to track and measure progress, and (5) lead ongoing review mechanisms with internal and external stakeholders.
Key job responsibilitiesThe Sr. Manager, Global Media Partnership is responsible for partnering globally with key XCM (Cross Channel and Cross Category Marketing), Prime Video (PV) and Reputation Marketing & Insights (RMI) stakeholders as well as other internal consumer marketing teams to establish the best mechanisms to manage external media relationships with key strategic media partners critical to Amazon marketing programs across 5 regions and up to 33 countries:Gather internal Amazon media spend by business and make recommendations on partner prioritization for strategic media relationship development.Partner with multiple external agencies and internal business development teams to develop appropriate negotiating strategies and engagement models for key media vendors.Develop and communicate to stakeholders optimal engagement models and workflows with agencies and partners to maximize Amazon value and efficiencies.Own media vendor joint business plans and quarterly business reviews to manage progress against goals, identify new opportunities and maximize value of relationships across Amazon.Develop process documentation and operating instructions to all internal and external stakeholders.Implement processes to manage value created through media vendor partnerships across global business lines and stakeholders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experienceExperience using data and metrics to drive improvementsExperience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programsExperience communicating results to senior leadershipExperience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insightsExperience with Salesforce and Tableau
