ABA employees are eligible to apply for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).Job Summary/General Purpose of JobDevelop, implement and administer membership strategic direction and marketing plan for all entity offerings. Work with managers to develop programs and methods of measuring success. Assist with entity marketing initiatives as well as help to create new systems and programs.Essential Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and administer strategic membership development and marketing plans.Integrate all entity membership and marketing efforts for adherence to entity strategic and long-range plan.Market membership, products, events, sponsorships and other services.Serve as a member liaison, which may include staffing member committees.Perform research, data analysis and regular reporting to aid in strategic decision making.Coordinate with other interested entities on joint projects, proactively seeking both internal and external partners.Other duties as assigned.Required Education, Qualifications, ExperienceBachelor's Degree from four-year college or university (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 2-4 years marketing and membership experience with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the membership association context.Microsoft Office Suite and relational database software skills.External Resource/Vendor Management experience.Financial and Budget Management experience.Project/Campaign Management experience.Physical RequirementsNormal office conditions.Extent of Travel Required in the JobLight to moderate travel.The American Bar Association is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer of all protected classes including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
